Beta legal terms
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms apply when you access or use GradPlan during the beta.
1. About GradPlan
GradPlan is a beta career-preparation platform operated by Aranda T Tuduwage. It helps users track job applications, manage CV material, prepare for interviews and assessments, review job-search progress, and use the enabled AI-assisted Tracker and Application Studio tools.
Questions about these terms can be sent to aranda.tuduwage2003@gmail.com.
2. Beta Status
GradPlan is currently a beta service. Features may change, break, be limited, or be removed while the product is being tested. The paid beta includes a limited set of AI, document, preparation, and payment features; unapproved experimental features remain unavailable.
3. Eligibility And Access
- You must be at least 18 years old to request or use GradPlan beta access.
- You must provide a truthful 18-or-over declaration. GradPlan may suspend access where the declaration is missing or unreliable.
- Access is invite-only during beta and may be limited to approved beta testers.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account.
- GradPlan may refuse, suspend, or remove access where needed to protect users, the service, or the beta programme.
4. Paid Beta Access
Approved beta testers may purchase a 30-day GradPlan Beta access pass for the price shown at checkout. Payments are handled securely by compliant third-party payment processors. The beta pass is not currently an automatically renewing subscription.
Access starts when Stripe confirms successful payment and GradPlan records the access period. Access ends automatically when the 30-day period expires. A later pass is a separate one-time purchase and does not renew automatically.
Your statutory rights are not affected. If you believe you were charged in error, could not access the service after payment, or need help with billing, contact aranda.tuduwage2003@gmail.com.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use GradPlan to:
- break the law, infringe rights, or upload content you do not have permission to use;
- access, copy, interfere with, or attempt to bypass another user's account or data;
- upload malware, abusive content, or intentionally harmful files;
- fabricate experience, qualifications, references, or application material;
- cheat in live assessments, impersonate someone, or bypass recruitment processes;
- send confidential employer, recruiter, or third-party information unless you have permission; or
- overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt GradPlan or its infrastructure providers.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the CVs, notes, job descriptions, application details, recordings, answers, and other material you upload or enter into GradPlan. You give GradPlan permission to host, process, transmit, analyse, and display that content as needed to provide the service and power its AI features.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate, lawful, and appropriate before using it in real job applications or interviews.
If you publish a portfolio, you instruct GradPlan to make the selected portfolio snapshot available to anyone with its link. You are responsible for reviewing it, avoiding confidential or third-party personal information, and unpublishing it when you no longer want it to be public.
7. AI Features
GradPlan's AI features provide preparation support only. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unsuitable, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You must review and edit AI output before relying on it.
GradPlan does not guarantee job interviews, offers, assessment scores, salary outcomes, academic outcomes, immigration outcomes, legal outcomes, financial outcomes, or employer decisions.
8. No Professional Advice
GradPlan is not a legal, financial, tax, immigration, medical, academic, or regulated careers advisory service. Information and AI output are provided for general preparation and productivity support. You should seek independent professional advice where needed.
9. Availability And Changes
GradPlan aims to keep the beta available, but continuous availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, infrastructure outages, security issues, AI service limits, payment processing interruptions, or ongoing development work may affect access. GradPlan may change features, prices, access rules, or these terms as the product evolves.
10. Data Protection
GradPlan's handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Notice. You should read that notice before using the service.
11. Suspension And Termination
GradPlan may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, misuse the service, create security or legal risks, or use the beta in a way that harms GradPlan, other users, or third parties. You may stop using GradPlan at any time.
12. Liability
GradPlan is provided during beta on an experimental basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GradPlan is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of opportunity, loss of profit, recruitment outcomes, employer decisions, or reliance on AI output.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory rights in the jurisdiction where you live.
